Goat Girl are getting ready to drop their upcoming album, On All Fours, on January 29^th, 2021. In the meantime, we’ve been treated to a new single, in the form of ‘The Crack’. It employs their now-trademark washy post-punk sound, with loose, distorted guitars underpinning an airy lead vocal. The South London four-piece explain that their latest tune “emerged from an imagined post-apocalyptic world whereby people flee into space for a new life on an unruined planet, as the result of the pillaging of Planet Earth.” The complex, surreal video that accompanies the track shares a similarly dystopian vision. -Dan Peeke
